Design that holds together across channels
Good design makes everything else work harder: ads get clicked, posts get noticed and proposals get signed. The goal isn't a pretty one-off. It is a set of visuals that look like one business wherever they appear, from Instagram to a printed flex banner.
What I design
- Logos and visual identity.
- Social media creatives and ad sets, sized correctly for each platform.
- Pitch decks and one-page brochures.
- Print and packaging, including cards, signage and flex.
- Brand kits so your team can create consistent material on its own.
How the process works
We begin with a short brief covering who it is for, what it must say and where it will be used. I then share concepts, refine them with your feedback, and deliver final files ready for web, social and print, with the source files included so you are never locked in.
AI tools, with human judgement
I use tools such as Midjourney, Ideogram (good when you need legible text in an image), DALL·E 3 and Adobe Firefly to explore ideas and create assets quickly. Everything is then refined by hand, checked for quality and for suitable use, so it looks intentional and not generated.
Where design connects to the rest of your marketing
Design is most useful when it feeds something. A full identity belongs with branding. Creatives for feeds belong with social media marketing, and ad images with Meta ads, where I test them against each other. Short clips for the same campaigns come from video editing.
Design mistakes that cost you customers
- Text too small to read on a phone screen.
- A logo and colours that change from one platform to the next.
- Low-resolution images that look fine on screen but blurry in print.
- Too many fonts and effects competing for attention.
- No clear next step, so people admire the post and move on.
A clear, consistent system avoids most of these and also makes each new design faster and cheaper to produce.
